Nominees for Lima/Allen County Chamber Awards announced

The Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce announced nominees for this year's round of business awards.

More than 50 businesses, individuals and non-profits were nominated for this year's awards. They were narrowed down to three nominees in each category. This year's nominees are:

• Travelodge

• Fortune Accounting & Business Solutions, Inc.

NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR

• Equestrian Therapy Program

• Allen County Health Partners

• Habitat for Humanity

WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

• Johnny A's Grill and Spirits

• IDC Engineering Inc.

• Ann Ross Catering, Inc.

ATHENA AWARD 

• Karel Oxley

• Sandra Monfort

• Rita Thelen

The awards will be handed out during the Annual Awards gala on May 27 at the University of Northwestern Ohio Event Center.
